In collaboration with Cultuurmakers Maastricht, cnme & OmniUM KIP Comedy presents No Heat, Just Pressure — a comedy & talk-show night addressing the realities of the energy crisis, housing stress, and sustainability from a student and youth perspective.
Cold rooms, rising rents, unpredictable energy bills and systemic pressure have become part of daily life for many. These issues are often discussed in policy terms, but rarely through lived experience. No Heat, Just Pressure brings those experiences to the stage by using humor as a way to cope, connect, and reflect.
The evening combines stand-up comedy, conversation, and audience voices. Through laughter and honesty, we create space to talk about what it means to live under constant pressure, and how shared stories can turn frustration into recognition and resilience.
This is not just a show; it’s a moment to gather, warm up together, and remind ourselves that we’re not alone in the cold.

Talent Development
Providing consistent, safe, and playful opportunities for local comedians, musicians, and performers to rehearse, experiment, and grow. Through weekly talent days and monthly showcases, we foster an environment where trying, failing, and flying are all part of the journey.
Community Building
Not just a show, but a meeting point. We bring together artists, audiences, and cultural partners in an ongoing exchange. Our focus is on participation and inclusion.
KIP challenges the standard format of the comedy club. We mix disciplines, we dance after the punchlines, we invite conversation between performers and audience.
